In 2016, AMHC facilitated the participation of 20 racewalkers which included athletes like Manish Rawat and Khushbir Kaur to walk from Mumbai to Delhi as a part of Max Bupa’s Walk for Health Campaign. The event started on 10th January, 2016 and ended on 14th February, 2016 and a distance of 1,420.6 kms was covered.
For the 1st time in India as a part of the Max Bupa Annual Walk for Health campaign-2018, competitive 7km power walking events were held in Mumbai on the 4th February, 2018 at the SNDT Women’s University Stadium and in New Delhi on the 18th February, 2018 at the Dhyanchand National Stadium. AMHC was associated with the Mumbai and New Delhi leg of the campaign as the knowledge and jury partner.
